Edinburgh Engagement Photographer – photo story of Jun and Amber
I certainly struck lucky with the weather and the location for Jun and Amber recent engagement shoot. For Edinburgh engagement photographer there is no better background than the atmospheric streets of the Edinburgh old town. We started our walk in historic Royal Mile. Even though it was Monday, it was very busy and such a beautiful couple was attracting a lot of attention. I like all the hustle and bustle of the Royal Mile but I enjoy quiet nearby closes too (for those who don’t know a close is a Scots term for alleyway). We managed to get some photographs without the crowd in the narrow streets surrounding St Giles Cathedral. Then Jun and Amber took me to the Calton Hill. The hill is situated just beyond the east end of Princes Street and included in the city’s UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you were to visit just one place in Edinburgh – then the Calton Hill is your place, you can see from here the Old Town, the New Town, the Bay and the Arthur’s Seat. Truly amazing place.
An engagement shoot provides a fun and effective way of getting to know a photographer before the pressures of Wedding day and for the photographer to know you. The more the photographer knows about you and what’s important to you, the more likely he is to get the shots you want, and you get a preview of his work and style. As an extra bonus you get some practice at being photographed!
Don’t like the particular photographer? Find another, taking with you the lessons you’ve learned. An engagement photo session can be a different way to spend a day, and at the end of it you should have some comfort in knowing that one of the big decisions leading up to your marriage is covered.
And enjoy the photos..! Thank you Jun and Amber for a wonderful shoot in my favorite city of Edinburgh!
